Heart

What is my heart made of?
It isn't strong.
Trust me.
It's not made of thick steel.
Or strong, sturdy, rock.
But instead of thin paper;
Of clear crystal glass.
Fine China as frail as a flower.
Breakable, bendable, easily crushed.
My heart isn't something to be taken lightly.
If you have it, be nice.
Please?
Some have it by choice.
Others not so much.
But you; you chose to love me.
Picked me like I was a rose from a bouquet.
Though I no longer feel like a beautiful flower.
I am broken.
Just like my heart.
