Heart and soul

I search my heart and soul to find if there is

beauty within, I never want evil to 

reign within and let ugliness oppress

my inner being.

May the light shine within, I want to 

be pure and clean within and shame

the darkness in my inner being.

I long to have love and peace within,I

strive to harbor compassion and mercy

within and unlock the doors of joy and

forgiveness in my inner being

May the hurt and pain die within, I want to

be healed within and have the everlasting

love of God in my inner being.

I want to cast out all my burdens from within,

let care of God be within and let the light

rule in my inner being.
