Heart Broken

Heartbroken, wanting some peace

Wanting life to cease,

Why does it have to be so hard?

My heart is scared and charred,

Burnt by the anger of love

Unforgiving because of a shove,

A shove that was long ago

Now it refuses to flow,

Flow into these veins,

That holds me down like chains.
 

Heartless, what is the point in feeling anymore

When no one will ever have me to adore,

Wait, no one cares, I forgot

Why am I so distraught?

I just cannot, Cannot live this way

My soul will just decay

Well, decay more and more

I will just decay through my very core

So why stay here wasting away

And be other’s prey?
