Heart chakra

The heart can’t stay open all the time,
it needs to dim so it can shine.
The love and wisdom that it gives,
through its eyes you watch it live.
Sometimes it needs to find its home,
by itself when it’s alone.
Then it can retreat to safety,
and see for itself that it’s amazing.
Then the tears roll down the eyes,
when it hears all its cries,
which comes as no big surprise,
see for yourself and ask it why.
