Poem -

The heart of the ghost of Calliope

The heart of the ghost of Calliope

Tinged hearts in rivers gold
Calliope might we speak
If fathers were not unwell
And we were enough for time
Damn time you scoundrel
Cheating me of my muse
And my heart of love.

Calliope, my heart suffers
The ghost of my muse and
The steps that make me shudder,
Are we not meant to be,
Each time your horse gallops
And your feet run from me
I ask, why

This is the last I beg
Can the gods of love not listen
Do men's words evaporate
For my heart has one beat left,
One lonely lingering beat
That beckons the heart
The heart of the ghost of Calliope

thank you Susan, it's a good day to

write a poem and send love across the

world; even though we are strangers

A simple comment is causing happiness.

Merry Christmas from Jai ;)
