HEART, SPIRIT, BREATH! (Shakespearean Sonnet)

To the beat of His HEART I hear my life’s cadence 
And step into the blessing He has readied. 
I send to His throne my prayer:  a fragrance 
Manifest with my belief personified! 
His SPIRIT radiates a loving zeal; 
I feel content within His Holy Embrace 
For His “yes” is sure to my faithful appeal 
As I kneel before the newness of His Grace! 
Oh Father, My Father I feel your sweet BREATH 
Move upon me in ethereal resplendence! 
Assured of victory my sword I unsheathe; 
And declare upon you my soul’s dependence! 
 
I dance like David in jubilation 
And offer praise in devout oblation!
