Time Waits For No Man

Time was waiting but when the moment came he was gone,
all those opportunities missed and never been really done;
you could have had all the stars instead of numerous avatars,
which mislead you, took you to the moon ending up on mars.
Time was waiting by the town hall clock but she never came,
it made no difference whether you were in the sun, wind or rain;
the destiny had been foretold and predetermined that you stand,
unstoppable, with weak loose reins like invisible grains of sand.
Time was waiting with periodic glances at the large round clock,
which had a sad face, large hands and the sound of tick tock;
it eventually left and there remained a large vortex in the space,
but the shadows laughed and called me 'situation' to my face.
However, I was quick to overtake everything that was before me,
I had diligence, enough chutzpa to really create my own mystery.
