Heartbeat

 Why this strange feeling

 Hearing the rhythm of my heart

 It's no different with the percussion instrument.

 I wonder why I could hear it so loud

 My mind drifts away following the sound

 It was fading away slowly,

 I could feel it...........

 Until everything was indistinct

 Terrified by my thoughts 

 I shut my eyes with fear

 Trying to reach the sound again

 Realizing my heart had stopped

 I was cold and empty,

 Sad,confuse,alone

 Tears strolled down my eyes

 Said short prayers

 Felt a countershock

 Oh it is the defibrillator 

 Hearing the percussion instrument

 I knew it was my heartbeat.
