Heartbeat

Heartbeat

I laid there in your arms
My head against your chest, just hoping, wishing, breathing.
I counted your heartbeats and came up with a reason for each of why I loved  you.
I smiled to myself because the reasons I love you, just like your heart beat
were endless.
