Regenerate

Regenerate

Just one more kiss
Just one more touch
Just one more moment
In intricate bliss

Maybe you were my muse
There was just so much to lose
And maybe it's not to late
For feelings of love to regenerate

And maybe it's not you that I hate
Because your eyes are still warm
And your arms still seem to block harm
And your words, they're still so gentle
And this house,it's still covered in all things sentimental

That gentle kiss
It's horrible to miss
The way it felt
How with depression it dealt
The way it was

In the rain
Amongst the thunder
Erasing underlying pain
You stopped and began to gently mutter
Those three little words

That everyone lies awake for and prays to hear
Those three little words, that you brought near
