Heartbreak's Waves
Inspired by Wilford Barker's poem titled:
"A SONG WITHOUT A VOICE"
Heartbreak creates waves stronger than loves compassion forever felt the ripples
Abroad new waters
an entire ocean
of recovered calm seas
Still they go noticed
regardless the time passed
forever a reminder
Heartbreak's waves
and the pain they cast
forever leaving ripples
Pain fades as we do too
but yet the scars remain
forever the ripples will last
Forever the pain of
Heartbreak's waves
forever a reminder

Stunning Rob. And wonderful to see this was inspired by our fellow poet Wilford Baker, who wields the written word so beautifully.
I loved the structure you did here. I think we reach a point in life when the waters just can never be calm again. For there will always be ripples reminding us of the past pains. This is a fabulous write. Now I am off to read Wilfords 😊

You may be right , however im still longing for the day to come .....im on a warm beach with my true love , drinking fruity drinks with umberellas , watching the waves and finding peace in the ripples from the comfort of the person next to me knowing all my flaws and past didnt prevent her from choosing to be with me .....
I hope you find that beach an girl Rob. Keep being your true self and the right girl will one day find you, see that real you and love you for it. It’s the only way to be happy, be true to you. I totally believe one day you will find it x
