In heaven

Remember when I was little and you told me about God,

You said he worked and various ways,

and I thought that to be odd.

You said that he created life on earth,

And his son died for our sins.

Now I know what Gods worth,

So where do I begin?

He put you on earth,

a true walking angle.

Now he has you in his kingdom

Where you have a lot of freedom.

You look down on me,

and the whole family.

You smile and wave, though the clouds.

and now I see what God is about.

Although you are up in heaven,

not to far from my dreams,

I feel as if you are far away from me.

I thank God for all he has done,

and maybe when I see you and him

all will be done.

I hold out my hands to God,

I open my mind and my heart

to him also.

And when it is said and done,

It will be him that I follow.

All the way in heaven,

by your side, once again.
