Heaven or earth

To what is it we owe these pretty trees and flowers,
as they sway in the evening breeze they seem to have such magical powers,
some say such beauty came from way up in the heavens even further than mars,
some say such colour came from the colliding of distant stars,
however we perceive those flowers in the breeze,
may we at least give them peace to be at ease
