Poem -

Hell Is But A Step From Home

In lacerated lullabies,
Your sonnet still keeps me weak
Like a puppet controlled by strings
For years I've become you're crippled little play thing

Imprisoned for so long,
My skin has conjugated with the chains that bind me in place
Becoming one with the flesh,
The insanity I've come to so gallantly embraceĀ

"Come to the chambers to where I feast"
I say locked away as I desperate for human connection
The trials for prosperity have been thrown to the pit
This is the second death, Gehenna, and I'm eternally living it
