Hello fear

Hello fear

Hello fear a presence felt,
ball and chain of mental health,
shackle of the heart and soul,
as you push me towards that dark hole,
anxiety and doubt your odious force,
as you try to blight my natural course,
today however I regret to say,
that I've found another way,
your shadow shortens as I leave the pit,
I've claimed my life and you're not it.

Positive and powerfully penned, Phil.
Sometimes you just gotta face your fears head-on and kick 'em right in the arse.
Nicely done!
