Her and I

Through the macadam splinters venture
Splitting from a whole
Crumbling piece by piece
Every step takes its toll
Surgical hands and blood drained veins
Contemplating life and death
Warm or cold remains
I constantly fall victim to lovers quarrels and broken dreams
I’ve been damaged many times
But i’ve always broken free
A stunning girl, gorgeous from dusk till dawn
Calms my mind
Pleases my heart and fills my eyes with lust
I hold on to my dream
One day her and i can be
With that thought i smile happy
Never dirt on both knees
I’ve surrendered my emotions
Given my heart to her
I’m bound to books, she’s bound to a hellish home
If her kids grow more and more like her
They’ll be off to a proper life
