A nest is built with loving care

It's trimmed in decorations to cherish

The birth of her newborn baby smiles

Tears of joy and proud feelings adorn

Mother's arms embrace to nourish

Love and teaching make a child strong

Both grow together to respect each other

Sad times, and glad times bring family close

Young eyes look into old eyes, as they hold hands

Pray for the mother who serves our military, in every way

Then one day, the child who has grown serves the mother

Daughter's job is to give back as her arms
