Here Come The Tears

I cry for you every morning, I weep for you all night;

I long to spend each day beside you, and in the evenings, hold you tight!

The pain that I now suffer, is simply more than I can endure;

For every moment I’m without you, it increases evermore!

My heart lays ruined forever, for there’s no one here on Earth;

Who could ever successfully repair it, and end this endless dearth!

For you were the one that kept it happy, your love was its engineer;

It flew a thousand miles a second, whenever you were near!

But now in loneliness it withers, and dies a bit each day;

Its’ chambers have slowly emptied, since the night, you went away!

I look to your dear photos, and their memories bring fleeting cheer;

At night, my dreams end way too quickly, as I’m holding you so near!

I’ll cry for you forever, and longer if I can;

For you were the son I’d always dreamt of, that became such a unique man!

You taught me how to love again, for I thought I never could;

But I’ll join you there in Heaven, for God told me that I would!
