Here comes the night

Here comes the night 
O graceful one 
  In these bones 
       On this passage 
Into this dark tunnel 
    Forget hope 
         Forget joy 
Forget the sea 
     Taketh away the moon 
          The stars and the sun 
For here comes 
The night 
 In it's magnificent form and 
      tyrannical making 
       In the way of light 
           With a dead lamb 
      A corpse 
          Waiting for redemption 
    Lord I say 
         Amidst this banging drum sound 
In the evil dark 
      The body has risen 
           The soul has levitated 
Into
     The light 
For here comes the night
