Here They Come

The Priest And The Pagans

Here They Come

Here come the priests
Of the Prince of Peace
With the holy Crucifix

Here they come
With love for all
Here come the priests
To burn the Witch

Here come the peaceful pagans
Singing of Reason and Wisdom
And that all Gods are One

Here they come to blame
The very vessels of change
Here they come to blame the sins of the father
On his great-great-great-grandson

The children of the father
Who claim
There never was a mother's womb
from which they came

Laugh at the children of the Mother for their fatherless claim
Who laugh at the others
And none can see they are all the same

And our parents sit together
Laughing at our silly silly game
