HESITATION

HESITATION

A stream in the woodsΒ
air bubbles driftingΒ
under ice rink,
life's slithering into aΒ
chummy groove,
where naked treesΒ
standing starklyΒ
against north-eastern beast.
Β
smiles break
eerie stillness
of nature
and
a crystalline song
echoing brusquelyΒ
in the chilly wind.

Venus and OizysΒ
intertwinedΒ
in a stolidΒ
winter dance.

My Dear Leah,

Once a year, Mother Nature regenerates
She brings the ice and snow
To bathe her loved ones
And cleanse her Earth

.
But soon, will she change the Season
The ice melts, the warmth comes
The birds sing, her children smile
Hope Springs Eternal

All my love,
Larry xxx
