Hey ho!

Hey ho!

Hey ho!  Away life goes
Sometimes fast and sometimes slow
Where it’s going I don’t know
But I’ll be going my way

Hey ho!  Life’s good and bad
Sometimes happy sometimes sad
Though some awful times I’ve had
I’ll still be going my way

Hey ho!  Some cars go fast
Some last long but some don’t last
Can’t drive back into the past
I’ll keep on going my way

Hey ho!  Our Bosses say
“You must work hard every day
For which you’ll earn slave-wage-pay
And have to do things our way”

Hey ho!  When one fine day
Old Man Time takes me away
To St Peter I will say
Hey ho! You’re going my way?
