Hey I'm sorry

I remember in the first days
When I was still in my old ways
A new sensation I'd never felt
The walls around started to melt
A knowing I couldn't explain
A freedom from constant pain
An unexplainable connection
Feeling metaphysical affection
It started with a little letter
Wanted to make me feel better
Hi, I'm sorry was all you said
I couldn't believe what I'd read
You had nothing to be sorry for
You had opened up the door
To a life I thought couldn't be
To a life I simply couldn't see
But now
I'm
Free
