Hidden Inside

Hidden Inside

Hidden Inside

If only our inhibitions wouldn’t take control

We could free our emotions, for others to behold

Why can’t we express the love, that we feel inside

Why do we hang our heads, turn away and hide

Are we trying to protect our soft Achilles heel

Are we trying not to show, exactly how we feel

Thoughts of others and love ones begin to unfold

Moments alone, makes one search into the soul
