Hidden Issues

The World looks at you with happiness
You smile in return
Masking your broken soul
For no one wants to see it
They ask if you’re okay
Expecting I am
But when they get something else in return
Unable to believe their ears
They choose to be ignorant
Not listening
So once you hear that message
An expectancy hidden as a question
Do not fret
For the broken shall find the broken
To stitch and patch your souls
Sharing what makes the other whole
So they can smile as brilliant as the sun
When the world looks at them once more
