Poem -

HIGH UP IN THE SKY

Pretty young lady high up in the sky
What makes you weep and start to cry
I am wondering why you should be so upset
A broken romance or bereavement I'm willing to bet

I tried to make her smile and offered her a sweet
As I sat next to her and took my seat
Out of her mouth came the most sweetest voice
My beating heart inside was starting to rejoice

It wasn't long before the conversation started to flow
A romance dear friends was starting to grow
Three hours later the plane was ready to land
The pretty young lady then took my hand

She told me she wanted to keep in touch
For which I replied I would like that very much
