You look diferent
but still so great

as we sip our tea we start to reminisce
on our relationship 
Our highschool hit and miss

I remember when used to date
teenage sweethearts thats what we were
Oh my god it was all such a blur.

but a good blur, i add
I remember being so suprised when you asked me to be yours 
it was so unexpected and completely dropped my jaw.

but in a good way, though.
yes, in a good way.

i remember our laughs and also our crys
like when you got into an american university and we couldnt visit eachother often as we couldnt afford to fly.
we knew it was the end there was no doubt about it.
if we did long distance we'd lose all the good bits.

the human bits.
we'd be connected only through our phones.
a big contrast to our relationship at the time.
We were stuck at the hip, i laughed.

So we made an adult decision
came to a verdict
we felt good about cutting ties 
But both of us were hurting

i didnt wanna say 
i pretended i was okay
because i didnt want to be the reason that you'd stay.
and so you left
Heartbroken and kinda angry with me that day.
