Poem -

You

In the dead of night, you came to me. As I wept atop my pillow.
You called my name out in the wind,
Called for me to come to you.
And so I came, as I often did.
To me, you offered happiness.
A break from all that haunted me and caused me immense pain.
Through my tears, I spoke to you.
You always come to rescue me, in the dead of night, when I can't sleep.
