HIS PICTURE

HIS PICTURE

On my pillow lays his picture

It soothes my aching heart.

His gentle eyes, his beautiful smile

I never thought we`d ever have to part.

I lost him so young

My soul is broken, never to mend

Ripped in two is my ruined heart.

Please, will this pain ever end?

He visits me in my dreams to say " Mum I love you "

But I miss him so much that it hurts.

Is this real? because it`s so terribly cruel!

My heart is aching fit to burst.

When I gave birth to him

I fell forever in love

He taught me how to be a mum!

I gave him his first drink

But sadly also his very last!

No words can comfort

In these endless days of pain

There is only one thing that I know for sure

That one day soon, we`ll be together again

And I`ll be able to hug my son once more.

Thank you my little Rosebud for that lovely message. You are always a great comfort to me and you make me feel very proud of you too. You have the kindest heart and the most loving ways and you mean the world to me sweetie, so don`t ever forget that will you!

I love you
