HIS SILENT THUNDER

HIS SILENT THUNDER

In the silence of uncertainties
Wrestling with my fears
I was waiting for something to happen
As I prayed and fought my tears

I expected a thunderous sound
Of the heaven's breaking through
Instead, I heard a still small voice
Saying; Wait and see what I will do

It was in His silent thunder,  His quiet roar
He told me; Hush, be still
I felt like Daniel in the Lion's den
Silently waiting upon His will

Impatient and very troubled
In the darkness falling apart
In the stillness, in the silence
He held and calmed my anxious heart

In the quiet hush, in the veil of night
My silence will break through
My gentle, silent thunder
Comes to rescue you
