SON OF GOD --

This disturbed place
Where hope sings the only song, before it is hung
underground shifting forms decompose tired words
filtering rays in solar crazes
tourist to begger
beggar the phrase
fallen cardboard family crests
soaked in disinterest
clawing paper hunger blows a scavengers race

this is a very disturbed place
vampire teeth disguise winters grace
empty floated coffins
the winners disgrace
uniformed yet naked they drag open the gate
screaming disappearing in celebrity embrace

Cliff from the edges now appears
homes prostituted and bereft
ledges are lowered to accommodate the step
base jumpers use church steeples and pews to rest
escalator people drift by
leaving gold trails dripping from the open thigh

futures only vocal reminder
an empty plate in a 60's diner
jokers and mirrors seek religeon
while gods play pool
in silver platoons
scars and scratches beneath silk scarfs
hoisted the years sealed in jars
coins spin on clear table tops
while dancers emerge from sunken tops

needles collcted verge on mass
catholic preachers addicted
forgiven in sermons dressed by boys
pizzas delivered toppings ignored

a very disturbed place this only face
posted saints jam the boxs
elvis returned sender unnoticed

Tall dusted buildings
fear and veneer
Avenues promote the arteries rejected
toilet wall record poetrys dejected
flushed streets  balance a flesh tsunami

A VERY DISTURBED FACE
NAILED IN A VERY DISTURBED PLACE
