Honestly
The truth
Honestly I can’t hide who I amÂ
The truth is why would I hide who I am.Â
Honestly accept me for me or just leave me be.Â
The truth is I’m going to be me with or without you.Â
Honestly I love hard as a man they say don’t cry don’t show no feelings.Â
The truth is it got me no where but a 6-12 year jail sentence.Â
To be honest you can ask me anything I’m an open book.Â
The truth is if you don’t like it that’s not on me but for you to bare. Â
I accept my wrongs and I’ll apologize even when I know I’m right.Â
Life is to short to fight just give me a kiss and we’ll say good night.Â
Why hold on to something from yesterday when tomorrow is not promised.Â

To keep the peace what I see and understand it harder for others to accept.Â
An interesting and heartfelt write. I think it's important for us all to own up to the things we've done and to change the things we don't like about ourselves. It's not an easy thing to do ... but nothing worthwhile is ever easy x
