Hoodwinked ??

I watched a pussy cat prowling near a stream
She cleverly caught a mouse and was like the cat that got it’s cream
But you see that little mouse was not all that it did seem
It had two mahoosive front fangs if you see what I mean

Well in self defense it bit its teeth into the cat who hissed and yelped and hissed some more then sulking it scuttled and scat
“ Huh that serves you right fluff ball” said the tiny little mouse
As he hurried ever so pleased as punch away back to his house

So the moral of this fabricated story is never ever trust your own instinct
Just when you think your on a total winner, something will have you hoodwinked ???
