Hope

Hope

I was all but gone
Back where angels were born
Until the warmth of your wings
Circled my fallen halo
With your holy water
Washing upon my wilder shore
Church of me lay scattered in the sand
Sweep me up in the arms of prayer
Be my choir say you'll be there
In the confession of my heart
Hope's candle caresses the dark
I follow your light to your faith tree
Every leave that falls heals a part of me
Lost I am blind, with love I now see
