Horatio and Hamlet

Hamlet, I guess you make me feel real
When ordinary life becomes an ordeal
I questioned who I really was before us
They tried to tell me on the school bus
Yes, your mother was disgusted by you
They tricked you to feel what they do
I wore the skin they made out of my fear
I frittered away all of my precious years
You came to show me that I was special
That my body was your only vessel
Hamlet, when it comes to the night
You always prove me right
Horatio, thereβs nothing unnatural about you
Or any of the things that we both do
You wrap me up in sheets of cotton
All this world's evils I have forgotten
We must hide this or us they will kill
All the ones who are unsocietycapable
You told me that everybody will learn
In the distance, I can see their concern
Horatio, when it comes to the night
You always prove me right
I just hope that they will learn
I just hope that they will learn
I just hope that they will learn
And it ainβt the peopleβs misdeeds
For scorning their own creed
For not being taught properly
From their Queens and Kings
That love transcends everything
