Hospitalisation

In hell; imprisoned; windows shut tight
Dark curtains are closed to keep out the light
Speak if you wish, you won't get a reply
I demand you to eat; I forbid you to die!

My soul needs to dance but you won't set me free 
Chained to a bed ..invisibly 
Pain seers through my joints, can none of you see?
This is the worst type of torture to me

Locked in a room guarded 24/7
Dignity taken; de-humanisation 
You will NOT walk to the bathroom; DO as your told!
Exercise is forbidden, you WILL use a commode!

I'd never eaten broccoli, courgettes or pasta
Body erupting; mind racing faster
I WILL eat you fools: No more complaining
Does it please you, you fascists, this weight that I'm gaining?

Automaton; spirit expired
Lies and deception are now required

I try to stay calm, I'm screaming inside
I plan to escape; desperation I hide
Determination I find to combat disgust
Hunger I crave; starvation I lust

Mile stone reached; from my cage I am freed
Into a clan with 'Miss Hierarchy'
Hysterical hyena sniggers at me
And still I am trapped in captivity

Why am I here? Just let me be me!
Treatment, punishment, a lesson maybe?
Tears extinguish my fire inside 
You've broken me; I'm no longer alive

Heading for morning therapy
The door is open ... GET OUT OF JAIL FREE!
Do not pass go or gain 30lbs!
Escape; get out; away from those hounds!

With warmth in my veins and despair cast aside 
I pick up pace and break into a stride
Don't look back just exit the door
At last the chance I have waited for!

Automaton, RUN,RUN,RUN
Sirens approaching 'what have I done?
Taken control of my life? Have I won?'
