House

A woman with a golden body greets me at the door. 
Vinyl records and Odutula paintings give and take away youth. 
A kitchen that conjured love the same way that it did meals. 
Oh, and the many carefully and mindfully designed rooms I dreamt up just for hiding. 
But I can't hide from fear, no one can hide from feeling... 
that made the house cave in, violently every time I felt you leaving.
