reality check

reality check

Dangling feet
No hope
A rope
I weep.
I need to breathe
Life support system I need
To rid me if my infectious disease.
Yesterday was bad
And today just got in my way
But still looking for better days.
Tall tales of my drug abuse
No sweet memories of my youth
Fear of falling loose
Please help me retie my noose.
The tide swept me up
Now I'm lost in your waves
To tired to fight
No longer can I cope
With my repossessed hope.
