HOW CAN I SEE

Tell me; How can I see
Things as they are
When I see through a glass darkly
When I see from afar
I only know what I know
What I've learned first hand
What I've lived, what I've experienced
Now this; I understand
How can I be made to see
What I have never known
How can I see things differently
If they have not been shown
But with patience and understanding
I know one day, I'll see
I'll see things as they truly are
As they become clear to me
