HOW DID YOU COPE ?

How did you all cope with the heat of yesterday?
Hottest day on record so the forecasters say 
Forty degrees outside as you look for shade 
Trains and buses not running and delayed 

Fires in London as the land started to burn 
Queues for water be patient and wait your turn
Never have you experienced such terrific heat 
Enough to fry an egg on a deserted city street

Today is much cooler there's breeze on the trees
People walking comfortably much more at ease
The heat of yesterday was incredible for sure 
Too much for some to cope with and endure
