Poem -

How many?

I canā€™t even start
To really add them up
In a grown up way
Like for seriousĀ
Because it would be too sad
To know for sure
To see the actual sum
To admit to it all
To properly recognise
To say Ā hi and shake the hand
Of all the hundred of hoursĀ
I have spent sat here on my own
With myself
Triple over thinkingĀ
Hours of funĀ
But hours
A single parentĀ
At night in a cell of your own care givingĀ
I know youā€™re there
I didnā€™tĀ
Too late now
whoā€™d have thought it
