HOW WE SEE

On the road of life
There will be some sunlight
Then suddenly there's darkness
And suddenly it's night
If you look in the evening sky
You'll see the stars glisten
You can hear the sounds of night
If you listen
It makes a difference
How you see every little thing
If you let things get you down
Or if you start to sing
Are you looking at the thorns
Or the beauty of a  rose
Who can say
Only your heart knows
It's how we perceive
It's how we see
The best of things
The possibility
A little rain must fall
Day must turn to night
But when you see the brighter side
All things are lovely and bright
On the road of life
It will be what it will be
But what is important
Is how we will see
