Hums

Hums

Between the clocksĀ
Up in the attic
Amidst the decorations

A memory knocksĀ
Above the static
Of an old radio with no stations

And every time
That I inch towards itĀ
The softer it becomes

Much like a chime
Melody befit-
But now all you hear are hums
