Hums
Between the clocksÂ
Up in the attic
Amidst the decorations
A memory knocksÂ
Above the static
Of an old radio with no stations
And every time
That I inch towards itÂ
The softer it becomes
Much like a chime
Melody befit-
But now all you hear are hums
