HURRIAN HYMN

On the ugarit shores
The Hurrian hymn is played
The sound waves slowly compete
With the winds refreshing blows
In some cosmic dance

The waves crash on the shores
Singing their elemental language
While the lyre listens and responds
With magical charm
On its immaterial wavelengths
Which make me feel sorrow
For the home I am missing

Wow Demetrius you dug deep into the oldest music and penned a mystical alluring read, that conjures in the mind a sense of wonderment and spiritual beauty.

"Singing their elemental language
While the lyre listens and responds
With magical charm
On its immaterial wavelengths"

Such imagery and sense of sound resonates from your lines here. Nature and music entwined, lifting the soul

BEAUTIFUL
