Hurricane

I love your cosmic eyes, filling my head with stars.Â
My ocean eyes are trying to communicate back
But no waves wash up on your shore.
How sad it is that all your stars are long dead
And their leftover light is fading.
How cruel it is, that I’m so unexplored,
But I’m still waiting for you
To dive into me.
Oh how lonely you are up there, all the blackholes and empty space Eating you away.
Oh how painful it is, my vicious typhoon
Barely scraping your atmosphere.
You don’t know this
But I’d give up the sun and the moon ten times over for you.
You don’t know this
But I’d give you all my water if you needed just a single tear.
I watch as your pearly reflection covers me in light
Consuming me in your glow.
How I wish you’d stay, but every morning,
You disappear into the cherry horizon.
If only you knew the terrible storm inside me
That brews for you.Â

beautiful and sad, reminds me of the song, 'black hole sun' by soundgarden...you dropped a somber tone, narrative takes the reader places, cool write, and welcome to poetryland, fallingdeep
