Hurricane Sandy

I remember when the war started in Iraq
Seeing bombs falling from the sky 
And parents trying to comfort their crying children 
who were afraid they were going to die

And I also remember some people 
Who had happiness on the face
As they watch on the news on TV
And enjoy the war that was taking place

The presidents and leaders of the world
Said they were on a mission from god
But they will get their dues on judgement day
When they feel wrath of his sword

then we see the long lines for gas In Iraq 
And humanitarian suffering from the war on Aljazeera
And many didn't really care about what was happening
because they think that could never happen here in America

But who is in the kitchen 
Will be the ones to feel the heat
And some peoples takes life for granted 
and that there will always be food to eat

Now I look at hurricane sandy
And the destruction's that it has cause
And I’m sure many of those affected
Are those who was happy for the wars

Many Innocent lives were lost in sandy
And you felt the sorrow in my heart 
Some lost everything that they had
Wondering how are they going to restart

Is this god’s way of saying to all 
the Super powers nations of the world 
Change your evil ways today. 
Or more natural disasters will unfold

The people living in the war torn countries 
Their lives seems to have no meaning
They are being killed for just gathering
Or even if they are having a wedding

I wish i can make the wars stop 
But my voice are just one
And it hurt me as a human being to be so helpless 
While all these atrocities still goes on

So hurricane sandy brings pain and emptiness
Destruction Like no one believe it could do
To the very same people who think they were immune 
From the feeling pain and suffering the Iraqis was going through

Suffering is suffering regardless to who
And these are the signs of the end days
And for names to be written in the book of lamb
People have to change their evil ways

And Until the day Jesus returns to earth 
There will be more wars and hurricanes 
Tsunamis, typhoons, earthquakes
So till then we human will keep on suffering
