This is why I keep saying no 
you think your healed but it doesn’t seem so 
Because when you don’t get your way
for the one you love, there’s hell to pay
You try to reel me in with some sweet words 
then turn on me when it doesn’t work 
I miss you more than you know 
but your pain is always the center show 
poor you, you victim, you’re full of shame 
bad parents, bad models, you’re not to blame 
someday I hope you do find peace 
and the justifications and excuses cease 
Because despite all you’re troubled ways
Whenever I think back on those days 
So many were the best I’ve  had 
and it makes me so incredibly sad 
to think about how much it pained me 
to say goodbye to the man who made me
Laugh like I’ve never laughed before
and hope that someday we’d have more
but then ruin it all because of some trauma 
from bad boyfriends of your shitty mama
