Poem -
Hypocrite
Within the depths of a sinful soul,
The deceiver takes on the hypocritical role.
From the outside a deception of holier than thou,
With empty promises and blasmalicious vow.
Affluent for the demons to possess,
The hypocrites who sinfully transgress.
Poisonous lies gliding from forked tongue,
Trophies collected and artfully strung.
Why conceal such a hideous soul,
Evilness relishes the easy control.
Smiles tainted saccharine sweet,
Humanity fades with a cowardly retreat.
Harbor not a vile heart
LifeΒ fleeting from the start
Mourn for mortality lost,
It's the price paid at horrendous cost

PoetessDarkly poem sounds heartbreaking, hypocrisy may be false, but for those who practice it is always helpful. It occurs with hypocrisy as it happens with the lie and there are venial or pious hypocrisy against capital hypocrisy in this dark sea of falsehood and hypocrisy.
All societies are covered with a false or double standards, what is made and think of privacy against what is being done and said in public.
