I always tried.

I always tried saving us.
Avoiding everything that needed attention.
I didn't want to loose us; our love i thought we had.
You're abusive love grew around me.
Making it hard to cut something i found so beautiful.
We both saw different things.
You saw another flower to your garden.
And i saw love,but my eyes were deceiving me.
Days and weeks would go by and i would not hear a word from you're mouth of lies.
My petals started turning grey.
I'd crumble at every  harsh breath you'd blow.
I wasn't the strong girl anymore.
I became weak and fragile.
You knew i wasn't walking away.
What once was a beautiful flower soon became dark and black.
In matter of months, a set of brown eyes had brought me to my knees and broke me....
