Poem -

I am here

I am here

In my mind, in my heart I am here
With the waves and the sand and no fear
As the water washes the tears,
that've been deep inside for years,
I feel a release, a shift into gear,
I'm ready to lead, equipped to steer,
my life in directions I've longed for so dear,
all that I've dreamed of has always been near.
I'm thankful, so joyful and full of good cheer,
ready to cross, an epic  frontier.
A new beginning, a fresh premiere,
best version of me, soon to appear.

I'm sure the best of you is not yet here and done, may you live more, write more.

I like the energized flow of this poem. I enjoyed reading it. It sounds like life has a new lens to look through.
